Elaine Edwards
Mother of the Groom
Elaine grew up in Salina, the daughter of John and Judy Reh. She graduated from Kansas State University and is Executive Director of the Salina Child Care Association. She enjoys traveling with her friends — whenever they have a work conference, they usually make an incredible trip out of it. For their 30th wedding anniversary, she and Jay flew to Seattle, WA, and Victoria, BC. She enjoys an occasional glass of wine, attending concerts at the Stiefel Theater, and going to Chico's!
Michael Edwards
Groom
Michael grew to be awesome in Salina, KS. He went to Salina South High School ("C-O-U-G-A-R-S!"), playing football, baseball, and basketball. His favorite times were riding to Sonic in Kevin's car. Michael played baseball at Cowley College for a semester before transferring to Kansas State University where he got his Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. Michael lives and works in Wichita as a Project Engineer for KE Miller, memorizing Google Maps. He enjoys long walks on the beach, small dogs, and knowing things. A connoisseur of craft beer and amusing GIFs, Michael is happiest at home.
Jay Edwards
Father of the Groom
Jay grew up in Salina, the son of Lynn and Corrine Edwards. He attended Kansas State University and works in sales for GE Oil & Gas. Jay coached Michael's baseball, basketball, soccer, and flag football teams when Michael was young. In his free time, he can be found golfing at Great Life or hanging out with Nick. Jay recently traveled with friends to see the 2014 Phoenix Open and to Chicago with Michael to catch a Royals game at Wrigley Field.
Allison Edwards
Bridesmaid · Sister of the Groom
Allison attended Kansas State University and Wichita State University and is now a Physician Assistant at Salina Family Healthcare. She enjoys remodeling her house, Christmas, and crafting Pinterest projects. She and Elaine recently took a trip to Las Vegas for shopping and to see a few shows.
